Confirm the exact S21+ Hydro variant

The S21+ Hydro 395T is a SHA-256 ASIC for Bitcoin mining. Do not confuse this configuration with an S21 Hydro 335T or assume that every variant in a product listing has the same power requirements.

These are typical manufacturer values. The manual specifies hashrate variation of 3% and power variation of 5%. Pumps, heat rejection and other external equipment consume additional electricity. Confirm the manual and configuration supplied with your order.

Can you install it at your own site?

Start with a qualified electrical professional and a cooling-system review. Confirm the available supply, continuous load capacity, protection, cabling and the requirements of the exact machine. A standard household outlet is not a suitable supply for this model.

The cooling plan needs more than hoses. Identify the compatible coolant, flow and pressure requirements, heat exchanger or heat rejection equipment, leak management and maintenance responsibilities. Account for local conditions and loss of power or flow. External pumps and fans still create noise; hydro cooling does not make the entire site silent.

For several units, assess the combined demand before buying. Five machines at the stated typical power represent 29.625 kW for the miners alone. This arithmetic is a planning starting point, not an electrical design or a capacity approval.

How much electricity should you budget?

At the stated typical draw, one machine running continuously for 30 days uses approximately 5.925 kW × 24 hours × 30 days = 4,266 kWh, excluding external cooling. Multiply this quantity by the applicable energy rate in the same currency, then add other charges in the quote.

Ask how the bill treats measured use, cooling overhead, fixed monthly fees, taxes and foreign exchange. A deposit is an upfront cash requirement and should be identified separately from recurring charges. This calculation estimates consumption; it does not estimate mining income or profit.

What does hosting change?

With your own site, you arrange the infrastructure and day-to-day operation. With hosting, confirm that the proposed facility accepts this exact variant, has capacity for your quantity and can meet the installation requirements. Obtain the actual location, shipping instructions and deployment timing in writing before sending equipment.

A hosting quote should explain ownership and equipment identification, installation, energy billing, cooling charges, monitoring, maintenance authorization, repair shipping, downtime handling, contract duration and exit procedures.
